Abstract:

In communication networks, strong connectivity between nodes is critical. The failure of strong connectivity between nodes may jeopardize the network’s stability. In fuzzy graphs, various dominating sets using strong edges are identified to avoid network stability. In this paper, the concept of bridge domination set and bridge domination number  in fuzzy graphs is introduced. A few prominent properties of bridge domination numbers are chosen and analyzed using relevant examples. The bridge domination number of fuzzy trees, constant fuzzy cycles, and complete fuzzy and bipartite fuzzy graphs are identified. The use of bridge domination in a partial mesh topology to ensure network continuity is demonstrated in the event of a node failure.

Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to appl y of concept of fuzzy bridge and to ex tend of notation of fuzzy domination number in fuzzy graph. F uzzy bridge introduces a new notation of fuzzy domination sets and fuzzy domination numbers such that is consedering for fuzzy graphs with cyclics and vertices are l ocated on cyclics. To check the importance of fuzzy domination numbers based on fuzzy bridge, we compare it to other distinct fuzzy domination numbers and show that fuzzy domination numbers based on fuzzy bridge is optimal. The main method, in this research is based on computations of fuzzy domination number of complete fuzzy graphs with distinct fuzzy vertices and is worked on spec ial and useful fuzzy graphs such as st rong 2-wh eel fuzzy graph and 2-complet e fuzzy graph. The study on 2-wh eel fuzzy graph and 2-complet e fuzzy graph was given for the first time in this paper and are worked via the generalize of 2-part of wh eel fuzzy graph and complet e fuzzy graph which these special fuzzy graphs have many applications on complex networks. In this study, computations of fuzzy domination number of special fuzzy graphs are done based on fuzzy bridge with distinct vertices. The paper includes implications for the development of fuzzy graph, and for modeling the uncertainty problems and applicaions in real world which we consider t wo modes of real problems.

Abstract:

Bridges are considered critical components of transportation infrastructure and play an integral role in public welfare and economic development. Bridge authorities in Iraq face multiple challenges in maintaining the efficiency and serviceability of the bridge network while developing a maintenance plan within limited budgets. Thus, this study aims to develop a systematic condition assessment methodology as a tool to prioritize maintenance projects and optimize available budgets to enhance the management of bridge networks. For this purpose, the bridge structure is broken down into four components: deck, superstructure, substructure, and accessories, and each component is divided into a number of elements. Bridge maintenance experts were surveyed to assign weights for the identified components and elements using the Fermatean fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FF-AHP). The weighted averaging approach was then used to aggregate components' condition ratings with expert-determined weights to obtain the overall Bridge Condition Index (BCI) of each bridge. Bridges with the lowest BCI get higher priority for maintenance. The proposed methodology was applied to thirteen bridges in Baghdad to demonstrate its practicality. The results indicate its reliability and capability to evaluate and rank bridges based on their urgency for maintenance. The proposed method would help bridge engineers and policymakers to make informed maintenance investment decisions during the budget allocation process.

Abstract:

Fuzzy logic” is a multi-value logic rooted in Plato and eastern philosophy. An Iranian scientist, professor of Berkley University, “Professor Lotfali Asgarzade” (1965) called professor “L.A zadeh” raised fuzzy logic for the first time. Despite Aristotle two - valued logic finding yes or no response to generalize to all phenomena (e.g. positivism), fuzzy logic introduces the world as it is. Fuzzy logic is close to nature of human being and it is similar to eastern philosophy and religions. Despite great benefits of fuzzy logic (due to the important role of math in it), the major problem of math logic is that it doesn’t produce intellectual models of human being as intellectual models of people are mostly intuitional and math cannot perceive its complexities. In fuzzy method, both quantitative and qualitative approaches exist together and this method is a bridge between qualitative and quantitative method.

Abstract:

Introduction: Myocardial bridging is a congenital condition in which a segment of a major epicardial coronary artery has an intra myocardial route. Myocardial bridging is usually confined to a single vessel and is typically the mid segment of the left anterior descending artery. Bridging may be associated with chest pain, myocardial infarction, and sudden cardiac death, or usually asymptomatic.Case Report: A 59 year-old women with diabetes mellitus and hypertension presented with dyspnea and chest pain on exercise. Physical exam, electrocardiography and echocardiography were intact. In angiography, we found severe stenosis of left main coronary artery and severe stenosis of three coronary artery (Three Vessel Disease) as well as multiple myocardial bridges at the end of right coronary artery. Conclusion: Myocardial bridging is a rave condition, however, it be considered in patients facing recurrent chest pain, it has severe complication such as sudden cardiac death.

Abstract:

In this paper a new optimized active control algorithm based on combination of fuzzy neural network and a new highly efficient meta-heuristic population based optimization method extracted from Tug of War competition presents under different earthquake loads. The Efficiency of the proposed control method has been evaluated on the recently proposed nonlinear highway bridge benchmark, consist of nonlinear isolation bearings and nonlinear structural elements which equipped with the hydraulic actuators. A 5-layer neural network is used to obtain the control force. The neural network is utilized to approximate nonlinear rules of control. It gets instructions to the actuators installed between the deck and abutments. Stability of control laws to choose the parameters of the neural network are derived based on Lyapunov theory. The Results are presented in terms of a well-defined set of performance indices which is comparable to previous methods. The results show that the proposed controller method in spite of a simple description of the nonlinearities and non-detailed structural information can effectively reduce the responses of the bridge especially maximum of base shear, maximum of midspan displacement and maximum of acceleration. Also sensible decrease in responses such as maximum of ductility, dissipated energy and plasticity connections show that the proposed method is very effective in reducing structural damages.

Abstract:

The selection of proper bridge sites across a river depends on many factors such as economic, transportation and geomorphology. In this paper, the best sites for bridge building are identified in a case study by using analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy logic in GIS environment. First, the river is divided into a number of segments based on the similar characteristics, each of which can be considered as an option for building the bridge. Then, main criteria of site selection are introduced and based on them, different layers of GIS are defined. The options failing to provide the minimum technical requirements for bridge building are removed. Remaining options are assigned weights with respect to each of three criteria. Pair-wise comparison is also performed among the criteria with respect to the opinions of three experts. Fuzzy logic is used to consider the uncertainty of pair-wise comparisons. Finally, the best sites are ranked based on fuzzy AHP method. Furthermore, as an old bridge is available at the river reach, two scenario including existence and nonexistence of the old bridge is also investigated.
